    Chevallan Archery Park is a privately owned “Traditional Archery Group” located at Wilsons Pocket east of Gympie, we hold 5 Invitational Archery Events each Year and fortnightly Club “FunDay Sunday” practice Days. We offer training, in all aspects of Traditional Archery including the Novelty Events that form part of our Invitational Events. We have a 30 acre landscaped property that is dedicated to Traditional Archery, Traditional Archery is Archery using Longbows, Recurves, Asiatic & Self Bows and generally attracts fun loving and talented archers only too willing to help you learn. We have hire equipment available to new archers and guidance in the learning process from experienced member archers.

    Gympie Goaldiggers Meeting Details – Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of the month. – 6:30pm for 7pm start until 9pm finish Guests are most welcome! The members of Gympie Goaldiggers are all proud to be a part of this organisation dedicated to the empowerment of members in not only their communication but leadership skills as well.     Scouts offers young people ages 6-18 an interesting active alternative to team sports. It is divided into age based sections: 6-8, 8-11, 11-15, 15-18. There is a focus on learning by doing while having fun. The activities are geared towards the skills and interests of the participants. The program is different each week. It is non-competitive and badges can be earned in areas of interest. Active Outdoor Recreation is what scouts are known for – so all sections go camping on occasion. They may also go bushwalking, overnight hiking, canoeing and abseiling. The young people learn life skills such as working in small groups, planning and organising, leadership and public relations. Plus cooking and cleaning. The camping may have from 6 to 12,000 participants and could be in locations close to home or in other countries.   • Gympie Roller Sports Club Inc

    Gympie Roller Sports Club Inc is the only roller sports club in the Gympie region. We offer Roller Hockey currently. We are looking for coaches for Roller Derby. Roller Hockey is a fast, exciting, non-contact game, played by two teams. Boys, girls, men and women of all ages can play the game. Roller Hockey can be played either indoors or outdoors. The team scoring the most goals at the end of the game wins.   • Gympie Regional Cricket Association

    Gympie Regional Cricket Assoc. (GRCA) administers a number of age groups & representative levels in the Gympie Region. The Gympie Gold is the representative side which plays in the Sunsine Coast Premier competition. The local competition consists of A & Reserve grade and is played at One Mile ovals on Saturdays between 1 & 6pm An open & under 19 side compete for the Goodchild Shield against Bundaberg, Fraser Coast & the Burnett. The junior competition is played on Saturdays & some Friday nights for age group 12-16. In 2 cricket is for ages 5 to 8 & teaches the skills of the game. The GRCA is a supporter of pink stumps day which raises money for Breast Cancer Research. The event will be held on 11 February.

  • Rimmington Martial Arts

    Age-specific kids karate classes. Ages from 3 yrs upwards. Full-time, fully equipped training centre established in 2000. Courses aim to improve self-confidence, self-control, self-discipline, concentration, teamwork, fitness, flexibility and socialisation skills. Nationally accredited coaches with over 40 years experience, multiple awards and inductees of the International Sport Karate Hall of Fame. Coaches are masters of (and instructors in) self-defence, weaponry, Thai Boxing, grappling, kata (forms), anti-bullying programs plus a large variety of skills. Tournaments are available by choice, but not compulsory. Current students aging from 4 yrs to adult hold multiple State and National Titles across a wide variety of events, including self-defence; weaponry; kata; sparring; sumo and many more. Titles are won in open martial arts competitions open to every style of martial arts & karate, with competitors ranking in the top 2 at the World Titles in Germany in 2016

  • Cooloola Dragon Boat Club

    Our Club is lucky enough to be able to train and have some social paddles on the beautiful waterways of Snapper Creek. As a sporting club we do compete in Regatta, but also have a lot of social events on and off the water. Our sport is for all ages and fitness levels, our members range from 14 up to 78 years of age. We train twice a week, Thursday afternoon, 3.30pm and Sunday morning 7.30am.

  • Gympie 8-Ball Association

    Gympie 8-Ball Association Teams play at Gympie Golf Club, Mount Pleasant Hotel and Jockey Club. Team fixtures are every Thursday night from 7.00pm starting 16th February. Fortnightly Sunday singles from 12 midday at the Golf Club. All ages and levels welcome and catered for.

    Gympie Touch Football Club which plays competition games on Mondays and Wednesdays. Mondays is our Senior mixed competition from 6pm onwards with Grades ranging from “A” to “G” Grade so there is the opportunity to play competitively and socially. Wednesdays is the Mens and Ladies Competition from 6pm onwards. On Wednesday afternoons commencing from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. Gympie Junior Touch sees their school based teams fixtures compete. From 5.00pm to 6.00pm the Intermediate Competition is run.

Lions began with 120 players but within two years the Club grew rapidly, this was largely due to the dedication, commitment and vision of our original committee members. Although competitive and successful on the field Lions Football Club provides a venue where the young & not so young can come together to enjoy the participation & enjoyment of the growing sport of football.
